What is SimplyBox?
As you surf the Web, you constantly find information/content that you would like to keep. Bookmarks and e-mail force you to keep entire web pages. And as you keep more pages, the harder it is to find them later.
SimplyBox's unique patent pending technology allows you to capture and keep just the parts of the page that you want: a sentence, a picture, a paragraph you decide. Each part of the page that you capture is an Item. A collection of Items is a Box. You can have Boxes on any subject/category you want: recipes box, funny jokes box, stocks box, etc. Items and Boxes are more visual and flexible to organize than lists of bookmarks, URLs, or e-mails. And sharing it with friends/colleagues becomes a very quick, dynamic, and fun exercise.
Most of SimplyBox's functionality is one click away. That makes us easy and fast to use. And SimplyBox works well with other services you use: Facebook, Google, YouTube, Blogs, etc. We actually bring a more visual experience and speed to some of these services.

Team
The core team of SimplyBox comes from a variety of companies ranging from startups to giants like Yahoo, GE, and Apple. We have held management, development, product marketing/management, and sales positions at these companies.
The idea behind SimplyBox resulted from our dissatisfaction with browser bookmarks and e-mail. Two years ago at a Starbucks in the San Francisco Bay Area we came up with a concept that addressed our frustrations in collecting web content. And from that very moment we decided that SimplyBox needed to be visual and easy to use. We believe we have accomplished that.
And in the last year we have certainly intensified our efforts to build a compelling solution and a solid company. Our service is now live and we have secured venture funding.
