SimplyBox was originally created as a free Web 2.0 service, with a focus on usability and visual simplicity. After the recommendation of multiple Enterprise analysts, the company made the decision to re-focus its solutions towards the Enterprise space. Today SimplyBox is a company that sees the Enterprise as its natural present and future.
Our passion for simplicity brings a unique value proposition to enterprise software, which we have observed over many decades of cumulative experience to be insufficiently user-centric. At SimplyBox, we believe in the power of Human Intelligence. We create solutions that take the friction out of sharing and harnessing the knowledge that traditional enterprise applications and collaboration systems don't adequately deal with, because they are not people-centric in their design. Communication must be fast, ubiquitous, and simple.

The Core Team
SimplyBox was founded by Mario R. Cavagnari and Rodney Goodger in 2007.
Mario R. Cavagnari. Co-Founder and CEO.
A native of Brazil, Mario is the current CEO of SimplyBox responsible for overseeing the company's overall strategy and execution. He spent most of his career in the Enterprise space. His most recent position was with Apple where he was Vice President of Sales for the PowerSchool division. Prior to Apple, Mario was Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Saratoga Systems, one of the pioneers of CRM. He also held management positions at: Clarify (acquired by Nortel), Seagate Software, and Software Publishing Corporation (SPC). Mario holds an MBA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, Fisher Graduate School of International Business.
Rodney S. Goodger. Co-Founder and President.
Rodney is President and co-founder of SimplyBox. Rodney has led global Presales and Product teams within several Enterprise Software companies ranging from startups to large multi-nationals. Most recently, Rodney led Product Management for the development of a new On-Demand CRM platform at CDC Software. Rodney joined CDC via acquisition of Saratoga Systems, where he directed global Presales activities. Rodney also managed global Presales at startup Digital Fuel, and held Presales and Product roles at Clarify / Nortel. Previously, Rodney worked on innovative Supply Chain solutions for the Automotive Industry (Audi and others) while at EDS, and led Six Sigma projects at General Electric. Rodney holds a degree in Industrial Engineering.
Michael Galloway. Chief Technology Officer.
Michael Galloway is the current CTO of SimplyBox. With over 15 years of Web development experience, Michael has designed and implemented highly available, scalable web, desktop, and mobile solutions serving millions of active users. Before coming to SimplyBox, Michael was a Senior Software Engineer at Yahoo! where he was responsible for architecting, developing, and supporting robust, integrated, Web API and desktop solutions. His experience spans both online services (Yahoo! Parental Controls) and desktop applications (Yahoo! Widget Engine) for both Windows and Macintosh.
